Just what she needed... A good morning breakfast before she headed to class after class. She had gotten hear a hour and a half before class so she could take her time and eat and not rush. It always made her sick if she ate too fast and she hated being sick. She stopped once to speak with her brother and a few times to talk to some hufflepuff quiddtich players and then a Ravenclaw who was in one of her classes. She did not care to pic favorites over houses, so she was pretty good at making friends with everyone, and since her father was a world champion Quiddtich player, that helped too... Though, she did get tired of attention, it was fun.
She could not help but laugh as she found a article in the Daily Prophet about her father. Today was his birthday if she was not mistaken and she had sent his card the other night. She saw it mention about her brother and herself and saw the most famous picture of her. His injury photo and how she was scared to death for him. She was very young then and she loved her father so very much. A few slytherins were whispering behind her and she could hear her father's name. She clenched her fist slightly, but tried to ignore them. She hated when people talked about her family, but she heard someone call her name and she turned her head.

Being the son of 'The Chosen One' had it's perks, as James noted for about the millionth time in his life as he accidentally dropped half the contents of his book bag in the Entrance Hall and half a dozen people wanted to help him pick it up. After taking the last book from an over enthusiastic Hufflepuff (without doing any work himself), James excused himself from the throng of admirers that seemed to develop from the incident and headed into the Great Hall for breakfast. After nodding to various friends and acquaintances in different houses, he spotted Raina Krum, long time family friend, house mate, and captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. "Oh, my dear Raina, my dear Captain, how are you this fine morning?" he asked, sitting down across the table from her.
James reached for the nearest goblet of pumpkin juice, but the paper that Raina had in front of her caught her attention. Even though it was upside down to him, James could see the scowling face of Viktor Krum on the cover, Raina's father. Apparently the article didn't have any kind words about the Quidditch player, or his family, and by the look on the girl's face, it was upsetting her. Reaching across the table, James took the paper from her. "Do you mind?" he asked, but before she could answer, James crumpled the paper up and threw it on the floor. "Don't let that rag make you feel down," he said. "My family has been bashed and abused since as long as I can remember. All forty billion of us," he said, laughing. "The trick is to ignore them. You know you're much better than what this load of rubbish says you are."
He smiled at her, then loaded his plate with food. Like his father, James had an appetite. Though it paled in comparison to his Uncle Ron, James knew how to put food away. Now was no exception. After taking a bite of hashbrowns, quickly chewing them, James spoke. "So, when's the next Quidditch practice?" he asked. "Have you worked on new plays so we can beat Slytherin. I've been thinking of some, if you're interested in hearing," he added. He wasn't the Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and he knew that, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't act like it. He'd lobbied for Professor Morgan to give him the position at the end of last year after they're previous captain graduated, but Professor Morgan just told him that he'd think about it. James thought that he didn't think hard enough when he'd heard that Raina had been made captain, but he always reminded himself that he'd gotten to be seeker over her. That's all that matter anyway (or at least he told himself). "We have to beat Slytherin," he said, taking a bite of sausage.

&The article did not really upset her, the laughter about her from behind was what was making her pissed. This was by far her favorite picture and she loved it. It showed how protective she was over her father and the father’s love for his daughter. As she was reading the paper, she could hear the commotion and turned her head towards the doors to see her lovely seeker, James Potter, and his very good looking self, but he was a friend and a family friend at that. She wondered where Victoria was, it was not a rare thing to find them sitting and laughing together and she missed that good friend. ”Oh, my dear Raina, my dear Captain, how are you this fine morning?" She smiled at him as he set down and held loosely to the paper. ”I am fine my handsome Friend. How are you James?” She said to him before she turned her attention back to the paper.
&As she continued reading, she did find some upsetting parts, about how this injury had ended his career and then how she has been his reason. That was a lie and a complete one at that. ”Mr. Krum has become nothing more then a mere coach, but his memory and legacy lives on.”… A mere COACH! She hated it when they said that, but she still loved the picture and she had been searching for it for years. ”Do you mind?” She could barely answer until he took it and crumbled it up. She smiled slightly, knowing it had been because she had grown angry. ”Don't let that rag make you feel down," She laughed slightly and shrugged. ”My family has been bashed and abused since as long as I can remember. All forty billion of us," She chuckled and nodded in agreement. He did have a HUGE family and that was not speaking lightly. ”The trick is to ignore them. You know you're much better than what this load of rubbish says you are." She whispered some words and made the paper return to her, smoothing it out and tearing the picture out. ”I love this picture… Dad had just gotten badly hurt at a Quiddtich game and I had been so scared. As mom and I were running down the stairs where we were sitting, each time I looked, he had not moved… When I got to him, he was in the Medical tent and sitting up. I nearly rebroke the bone they were working on. Dad just picked me up and said it would be okay… His birthday is today, you know?” She said to him as she threw the rest of the picture away and stuffed the picture into her pocket.
&She smiled as she watched him load his plate and she shook her head, putting some food onto her plate and then shook her head again. ”You know, one day you are going to get sick… You do this every, single meal!” She said to him, laughing as she took her own bite of eggs and toast, which she was making a sandwich with the two. As she took another bite, he asked the question she had been thinking about herself. ”So, when's the next Quidditch practice? Have you worked on new plays so we can beat Slytherin. I've been thinking of some, if you're interested in hearing," She thought about it for a moment and then when he mentioned plays and then about his own, she was interested. She had known James for a long time and not since school started. Viktor Krum and his Aunt Fleur talked all the time and she grew up basically with Victoria. She loved the family and since James was smart when it came to Quiddtich, she took his work. ”I was thinking about having a meeting tonight to go over everyones schedules… I know some people have homework and that does need to come first, but I was thinking maybe every day during the week and all day on Saturday.” She said to him, having thought it through.
&”We have to beat Slytherin.” She smiled at him as he ate the sausage and she drank some of her pumpkin juice. She put her cup down and leaned across the table, knowing Slytherin students would listen in on anything about the Quiddtich Teams. ”What kind of ideas, James… I have a few, but I need some help.” She always trusted James’ ideas and just him. If she could not be there, she trusted him to be her second and fill in. Or, if she was injured, she expected him to take up the slack and get everyone to work harder.
